Landscape Illumination, Inc. is a landscape lighting and seasonal lighting and design company, based out of Valparaiso, Indiana that specializes in custom lighting design for homes and businesses. We use only the highest quality, lowest maintenance, outdoor lighting system components available. When you choose to work with Landscape Illumination, Inc., you can be assured of receiving nothing but the absolute finest system available. Many of the fixtures we use now are available with LED (light emitting diode) technology and are very energy efficeint and usually offer a 15 year warranty on the light source.

Landscape and seasonal lighting are our ONLY business, not a sideline or an addition to other design activities. We have the knowledge of proper fixture placement and light capabilities which is by far the most important aspect in professional landscape lighting design and installation. About Our President

Our company was founded in 2000 by Darrin Selking. Darrin, who has a double degree from Purdue University in landscape management/design and turf grass management, designs, plans, and is involved with the installation of all lighting systems. We are members of the Porter and Lake County Indiana Builders Associations, Berrien County Michigan Builders Association as well as the Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas (LVLIA). This is a professional organization made up of lighting manufacturers and contractors dedicated to setting forth standards and increasing awareness of outdoor lighting.

About Our Service

No project is too large or too small for our prompt, courteous service. We have installed lighting systems costing from several hundred dollars to over $75,000 dollars. Most clients are surprised at how inexpensive high quality outdoor lighting can actually be. From our 10 years of experience in the lighting business, we know that an average “front of home” package usually costs between $2000.00 and $2,500.00 installed. Keep in mind that this “average” price is just that. Actual home architecture and landscaping dictate what the true cost will be due to fixture types, placement, and quantity.
